Bothell has grown a lot over the years, all while still staying true to its small town vibes. It is the perfect place to be able to get a taste of the city while maintaining a tranquil and positive atmosphere. There are plenty of nature-filled trails to discover, it is a neighbor to the Woodinville Wine Country, and has an all-around, inviting sense of community.
Activities
Cinemark
This spectacular theater experience is a blast. You must be over 21 to enjoy this affair, and it includes a wonderful dine in menu, cocktails, and reserved seats ahead of time. It is fun for either a date night or a girl’s night out! They play great featured movies and really make it a fun event.
Woodinville Wine Country
A short drive from Bothell, this is a fantastic place to see. Although there are plenty of great places to visit within the wine country; it is home to the spectacular Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. They have great concerts through the summers, they offer scenic tours of the estate, and additionally supply phenomenal pairings to go with your choice of wine. The atmosphere is very laid back and everyone is there to have a truly enjoyable time.

Sammamish River Trail
This trail leads all the way from the North end of Lake Washington to the North end of Lake Sammamish. Walk, skate, or bike along this beautiful trail. It is filled with peaceful scenery and there are many things to do right off the trail through downtown Redmond. Over the trail, where it was once a home to the Redhook Brewery, it will soon be the home of Teatro Zinzanni, as well as 2 Washington wineries instead. These additions will continue to the interesting locations along the trail.
Orangetheory Fitness
This is a brilliant new take on working out. They base their workouts on the theory of heart rate. All of the members in each class are outfitted with a heart rate monitor which projects their heart rate onto a screen. The goal is to be in the “orange” zone for the best results. It has different stations which you shift between throughout the class so that things stay interesting. They have loaded with amazing trainers that are dedicated to motivating and pushing you through the intense workout.

Shopping and Restaurants
Thrasher’s Corner Pub and Brewery
This dive bar is a great find. They feature all you can eat crab on Monday nights, Karaoke on Saturday nights, plus plenty of TV’s to make for a lively game day! The drink specials are impressive and it pulls a fun crowd. They are known for their great service and amazing food (especially burgers)!
McMenamin’s
The idea behind this restaurant was to refurbish Bothell’s first junior high school, and make it a blast to be at school. You can tour around, eat, drink, swim, play, watch movies, and listen to live music. It really has it all and makes for a one-stop, all-in-one destination. This makes for an outrageously fun night and a unique experience.
Social Grounds Coffee and Tea
This place has great beverages, scrumptious treats and awesome daily deals. It is a local owned coffee shop located right in downtown Bothell, and is a really pleasant place to be. The owners are great people with the mission of being the most eco-friendly coffee shop in Bothell.
Hillcrest Bakery
This bakery is one of Bothell’s favorites. It is loaded with sweet treats that are baked in house. Start your morning off with a delicious cinnamon roll, or end your night with a delicious cake between friends. There are so many goodies here that will hit your sweet tooth throughout any time of day. At Hillcrest they specialize in Dutch pastries and oh boy, you must get a taste of them for yourself!
Country Village Shops
An adorable outdoor mall with plenty to see and do. There are plenty of hokey shops and boutiques that are super cute as well as delicious restaurants featuring everything from delicious barbeque, to impeccable Indian food. They also are home to a local farmer’s market featuring baked goods, jewelry, flowers, leather works, and more. They also put on a great selection of events throughout the year.
